No Google PageRank Update in August Yet!

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

A Google PageRank Update in August 2007 is very much anticipated as it missed its unofficially scheduled date in July 2007.

There are a lot of people out there professing their frustration on the uselessness of Google PR Updates and I have this to say to them:

Whether or not you admit, it is a pleasure to see that green bar tick on to a greater number and no matter how much you say that it doesn’t matter, I bet you’d be disappointed to see your Google PR go down!

I know that I am not gonna see any improvement in my PR in this update as I have lost quite a few backlinks lately. Maybe I’d lose a spot! But it wouldn’t stop me from trying and getting it better in the next Google PageRank update!

Here’s to the latest pagerank update in Google! :-)

Search Engine Optimization

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

Search Engine Optimization, popularly known as SEO is a favorite pastime of egotistical webmasters. And that includes yours truly ;-)

I believe that every search engine optimizer must be deriving an evil pleasure seeing his website rising up on the Google ranking scale and beating others in their niche. And when the money starts rolling in… ahhhhh… the pleasure peaks to a new high and we get back to our computers to try and get our site rank even higher! :-)

Ok, so I have spent over 4 years learning the ropes and still I am far from being a true expert. Still, I have managed some good rankings in various search engines for the few clients I have but only through white-hat seo techniques. It takes longer and involves a lot of effort and brings in both visibility and exposure as well as revenues for sites but unfortunately people do not want to pay the fair price for the same.

Representing an Indian SEO Company is not an easy job as there exist a large number of rogue SEOs in the market that offer their SEO services for peanuts and then deploy unethical and shady techniques to get their clients’ website zoom amongst the Top 10.

If only we could convince ourselves to do that, but no! How can we? We love our clients and are proud that we get repeat business from all of them. It is because of the trust they have on us and the way we reciprocate their trust with good results achieved through ethical seo techniques and hard work!

We will soon begin a series of SEO Tutorials featuring SEO Tips and SEO Tricks to help newbies understand the concept of effective search engine optimization using ethical white-hat techniques and get their website rank well on Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Indian Stationery Industry and the overseas market

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

India stationery manufacturers have seen good growth in the demand of their stationery products from markets abroad. However, as per a report from AC Nielsen ORG-MARG, only 15% to 20% of the stationery industry in India is organized. There exists a severe competition between the organized and unorganized segments of the stationery industry in India.

The competitiveness of Indian stationery products in the international markets is enhanced because of availability of cheap raw material, affordable human resources, increased usage of modern technological innovations.

We have recently launched the website of our client IPMT Enterprises, stationery suppliers offering comprehensive range of stationery items including office stationery products, home stationery products and school stationery items like Geometry Sets & Boxes, Pencil Box And Cases, Compasses, Staplers, Punches, Lead Pencils, Rulers, Ball Point Pens.

Google PageRank Update August 2007

Friday, August 3rd, 2007

This interesting post talks about the imminent Google PageRank update in August 2007, which the SEO world is expecting to be reflected in their Google Toolbars within this month!

It is believed that there exists a link between the forthcoming Google PageRank update and the service outage that many Google Analytics users reported late last week.

It has been observed that no updates have a negative effect on a blog’s PageRank and this has me scared! I have been very lazy and not updated this blog of mine for months! Hope I don’t lose the PR5 I currently have! :-(

Till now the DigPageRank tool doesn’t show any change or fluctuations for my site on different Google datacenters. I guess that the actual PageRank export will take another week or so.

I have also heard that the Google will be adjusting its ranking algorithm and shedding off the supplemental results from its index. let’s see how it affects some of my sites. I just can’t wait for the update and find out if I have lost some Google Love! I definitely am going to post regularly now and ensure that I get some favour in the next Google update.
